I have no idea who the involved are, but I did read the chatlogs you posted.
In the first one (a private convo), Cattegirn (the ceo?) promotes Angel Petroni and asks him/her to "keep your emotions under more control than you did in the past two days. Ok?" Specifically he asks Angel to stop whning about loosing ships in corp chat. It ends with Angel Petroni going idle and Cattegirn giving up with the promise to "have this chat later."
The second chatlog (also a private convo,) Cattegirn reminds Angel that the "good things he has done," have been rewarded and suggest that a two-week hiatus from EVE might help put things into perspective for Angel. Angel then appears to continue complaining about lack of respect and how being told to STFU.
Cattegirn appears to want to explain what the rank of "SQUAD LEADER" contains.
The logs appear to be about a war dec. Cattegirn shares his frustrations with Angel. Cattegirn apperas to have a lot of stupid panicky members by the looks of it...
2010.02.10 02:19:06 Cattegirn -> I can't fathom how a war dec makes people feel lost. I think maybe Eve isn't the right game if that's the case.
In the following conversation, Cattegirn suddenly leaves. In the chatlog someone has added the reason as "logged off," despite Cattegirn explaining "RL, need food" in the next chatlog. (It is worth nothing this transparent manipulation of events. Even IF Cattegirn logged off in a fit, his claim that he was going to eat is still valid.)
Then Angel sends his resignation in the form of a long and somewhat tearfull EVEmail
Then the "logs" become copy-paste of a forum-post by Cattegirn. I asume they bare internal instructions to his corp. I have read them, and they all make sense. Tells people to play the game, form gangs, kill stuff, make ISK and all that. It is the sort of thing you might expect from any leader of any corp.
And posting + locking the OP makes Cattegirn a total win in my book. He tells people to play eve, quit their whining or find another game.
Quote: If a single war with a bigger corp - which I might add we've been doing fine with - is enough to put you off Eve or make you feel lost, especially in light of the amount of guidance I've given over the past couple days, frankly you need to find another game.
There really is no reason for cattegirn to allow further discussion in that thread. This is mainly due to the fact that he bothered to include links to no less than four seperate threads (not included in the leak.) The threads are titled as thus:
Haine Takeover
Goals and what we do
Nemesis Nation War
General Directives for officers - includes ship fitting and fleet composition recommendations and three specific activities for fleet roams.
Then things appear to have turned nasty. People calling for the corp to disband and all that panicky stuff noobs do.
Here is a tidbit that illustrates how much fail Cattegirn must have been dealing with:
Quote: [2010.02.10 19:59:05 ] Cattegirn > If this war is enough to lose members, they weren't really good to begin with, frankly. [ 2010.02.10 19:59:14 ] Dragan Dragon > that is disgusting [ 2010.02.10 19:59:21 ] Dragan Dragon > war in empire is no fun [ 2010.02.10 20:00:11 ] Cattegirn > Sorry, I wouldn't leave friends because of a war [ 2010.02.10 20:00:24 ] Cattegirn > I can't really relate to those that would [ 2010.02.10 20:00:39 ] Dragan Dragon > ah i see that
Dragan/Captain Seese then goes on to elaborate on how "empire wars are no fun," making it transparently clear that he wants cattegirn to disband and merge with someone else. Cattegirn declines... BRAVO!
To summerize An objective analisys of the provided logs supply proof that Cattegirn communicates much like any corp-leader. Some of his members have acted in a disruptive and defeatist way and he attempts to correct that but eventually gives up, forumbans the whiney little bastards and moves the corp on from there.
